Ánte’s life has been defined by Sámi traditions. As a single child, he feels strongly that he must continue the work with the reindeer. But something happens, something begins to tug and pull at him. His feelings for his best friend Erik have changed. But what would people say if they knew? His parents, his relatives, his classmates? Is it possible to combine reindeer husbandry with the life that Ánte wants? And what about Erik? How does he feel about all this?
